The color of blueberry pie, this wine has a bouquet of black currant, clove and violet. A frame of sturdy tannins supports flavors of black plum, cassis, anisette and dark chocolate. The tannins steadily lessen in impact, dropping off into a chocolate and espresso bean finish. Mike DeSimone
